We keyword the month in three letter format JAN, FEB, MAR etc. and the year as 2002, 2003, 2004 on all events and news stories. You can also restrict your search to a single decade by adding 1980s or 1990s for example.

Search for the person's name and you will see results displayed with the latest images first. Clicking OLDEST reverses the display order. You can then use the Filters on the left to refine your search. You may wish to add PERSONALITY first, then one of the words below used to describe the type of image. These include:

Activities such as DRINKING, CRYING, SHOPPING are always keyworded with the -ING word ending. Similarly, 'thematic' searches can be found by searching for such things as 'STAR DRINKING' or 'STAR SKIING'. Or try searching by profession, such as 'POLITICIAN CRYING' or 'FASHION DESIGNER SMOKING'. Popular occupation filters are in a 'closed' list. Click on the + to open it up. If you find you are getting too many wrong results when searching for performers whose names use common words, such as BLUE, THE WHO and TAKE THAT, for example, then try adding POP GROUP to your search string, but bear in mind we don't add POP GROUP to all groups.
